Group video conferencing has never been more open, accessible, and intuitive to use. In the education realm, it seems that two relatively recent arrivals to the party, Google Hangouts and Skype Group Video Calls are quickly becoming the veritable Coke and Pepsi of this service.
Joanne Babalis asked me for a recommendation as to what the new blended community she is spearheading in our district should use for video conferencing. In response, I’ve created a matrix to help in such decision making. I hope it’s useful to you as well. I would also love feedback on my matrix, especially if it’s to point out incorrect points or two suggest new criteria for comparison.
